Spring

There is a trembling in the air,
An exaltation everywhere;
A vibrant stirring of the earth;
The thrusting upward in rebirth
Of drowsy, dormant, hiding things
Responding to the call of Spring.

Springtime Song

The gray of winter
has been pushed
into the ground,
as spring comes to make
it's 'round.

The sun shines brighter
and longer in
the day, as the
flowers come up,to
the sun they pray.

The robins come back,
and worms they
catch, while children
and dogs go out
to play fetch.

The grass turns green,
and the tree's
do sprout, while
I am out my soul
does shout!

Sing to the sun
and sing to the rain,
take away the gray,
and wash away
the pain.

Dance to the birds,
chirping in the
trees, dance to the
music, singing
in the breeze.

Sway with the flowers,
smiling at the sun,
it's time for the joy, and
it's time for the fun!

Spring has come
and spring is here,
so come on y'all,
stand up
and cheer!!

Spring Sonnet

The birds do sing,
red birds and blue.
A lovely ring,
Oh sing birds do!

See the rain as it comes down,
making the flowers bloom.
See the leaves as they blow 'round,
listen to thunder boom!

yonder robin plucking the worm,
rabbits run and play.
See the children throw, catch and learn,
Spring is here to stay.

The trees bud and they turn bright greens,
as the rain replenishes all the streams.
