Event Rules
1.  All participants must register and carry a participant pass at all times.
2.  No vehicles in camp from 8:00 am Saturday until 4:30 pm Sunday.
3.  All camps must be authentic in appearance during the
entire event!
4.  All participants must be authentic in appearance (i.e. period eye wear,  shoes, etc.)
5.  All officers and sergeants must maintain control and be responsible for their units' actions.
6.  Camp areas must be clean at all times!
7.  Fire pits should be free of trash, such as bottles, cans, and other itema that will not burn.
8.  Discharging weapons is allowed only during authorized periods and in designated areas.
9.  Weapons must be historically correct for the time period and unit.  No shot guns!
10.  Appropriate rank for the numbers in the unit.  No rank above captain  without permission of the commanding officer.
11.  Pass check and saftey inspecton required before the battle.
12.  No cartidges larger than 65 grains.
13.  No pets in camp without approval.
14.  Camp will be quiet at midnight.
15.  Use of bayonets and rammers is prohibited, unless authorized by the   event coordinators
16.  Use of alcoholic beverages and illegal drugs is prohibited.
17.  There are no modern hookups.  Sleeping in a vehicle
is permitted in    the participant parking area.  NO GENERATORS!
18.  The use of horses during the event will be restricted to Functioning Cavalry Only!
19.  There will be no mounted infantry permitted at the event.
20.  The event committee reserves the right to check coggins tests, as well as insurance policies of any mounted rider on the field.
21. No raffles or fund raisers of any kind are permitted without prior written permission of the Orange County Farmers Museum
22. No raffles or fund raisers of any kind are permitted withour prior written permission of the 124th New York State Volunteers
