My name is Galen Muhammad.

I signed up on August 29, 1997, but my page is still under
minor construction. I've added much 2 the content of the site, but a few more suggestions on graphics
would be greatly appreciated!!

I was born the oldest of three children.
Born and raised in the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan area, I
attended Wheatley Elem., John E. Howard Elem., Suitland Jr. High and Suitland
Senior High. It was in the eighth grade when I began running track.
In the eleventh grade, I met my wife-2-be at a high school
cross country track meet at Ft. Washington, MD.

Also in the eleventh grade, I joined the Maryland
Army National Guard, later went on 2 O.C.S. (Officer Candidate School)
2 be commissioned as a 2^nd Lieutenant. While in O.C.S., I married my then girlfriend Dolores
-- May 14th `84.

I was initiated in2 Alpha Phi Alpha Frat., Inc. on Friday, Nov. 21, 1986 @ 11:15 p.m.
I was/am the Deuce/line president/rock
and being 2 of 2, that made me
the tail of the line as well!!

I became interested in Islam after hearing
the life-giving teachings of the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad
from the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan in 1988. On Feb. 11, 1991, I joined the
Nation of Islam and in February of 1996, I was given the honor and privilege of wearing the name
Muhammad (which means "one worthy of praise" and "one praised much"),
which I readily accepted and I have since been working for the
good of my people, providing for my wife and four sons
and daughter and striving 2 make my word bond.

Since then, I have joined the world community of Islam.
