Kitty Pryde, the X-Men's untouchable Shadowcat, for reasons still somewhat ambigous, left the X-men superhero life in favor of a more typical college lifestyle. In the recent X-Men unlimmited featuring a story from her time there, it's stated that she had tried the dorms, but that didn't work for some reason... I don't supose the trouble of hiding a purple alien dragon from dorm monitors could have anything to do with it...
