Sarina
Blackmoon
Sarina Michaela Blackmoon was born 115 winters ago in a land called Taslima. Her parents were hated by an evil black dragon called Morpheus Blackmoon. Upon the night of Sarina's birth, Morpheus stole her away from her tiny cradle carrying her off into the night. Unable to kill the beautiful blue eyed babe, Morpheus took her to his homeland of Darksbane where he raised her as his daughter, teaching her to fight in the way of the dragon.
Upon her 17th birthday, an evil band of warriors called the TOG stormed across the lands destroying the villages as it passed. The TOG swept through Darksbane murdering the men, raping and enslaving the women, and enslaving the children for their evil deeds. The Black Dragon Morpheus fought bravely but was not enough to save Darksbane from the TOG. Hiding in the forest on the outskirts of Darksbane, Morpheus, in his human form, lay in Sarina's arms dying. He loved her so that he confessed his treachery to her with his dying breath. She buried her father in a bed of beautiful white moonroses and hid for several days from the TOG until they had gone leaving her beloved home a smoldering pile of burnt broken wood and lifeless bodies. Several days she toiled to bury her beloved friends until the very last one had been buried.
Cold and alone, she found several items in her burned home her father had made for her: her silver choker with a black dragon within its center, 2 identical silver daggers and a large silver sword, sparkling sapphires studding the hilt, the word "SARINA" emblazoned over the blade, and a portrait of herself standing upon the cliffs high above Darksbane, the moon high above her, her hair whipping in the wind. With her belongings, she set out across the land and joined a band of mercenaries chasing the TOG across the realms. Several years passed and she gained the title of "The Black Dragon" in her battles. During these years, she searched diligently for the family from which she had been stolen. Somewhere in the world, she had a brother and a sister, and, hopefully her parents were still alive.
She reached the realm of Taslima and found her older brother and sister, Remy and Rora who revealed her true heritage as a sorceress to her. Wishing to be with them, she left the mercenaries, taking many spoils of war with her and built a small 2 story cabin in the Tasliman Forest called Blackmoon Rising.
She wandered the realm for several months and met a man called Kaleel. They quickly fell in love and were married. She soon became pregnant with their son, Kody Blackmoon; however, the marriage was doomed. He was very cruel to her and she divorced him soon after Kody's birth.
Many months later, she met a man called Sir Freeman whom she married soon after. This marriage was also doomed from the start. Sarina was enslaved by Freeman, her wedding gift being a collar and a brand. Unable to escape him, a lone warrior from the stars called Jaden came to her rescue and helped her to escape her slavery and the marriage.
Sarina and Kody spent many months with Jaden and Sarina soon fell hopelessly in love with her savior. He took her to his home in the stars where they were wed. Unable to have children of their own, the couple adopted an abandoned baby girl called Angelina. The small family was so very happy together, but, after a while, Jaden became too busy to spend time with them and they slowly grew apart. Their marriage ending in ruin.
Around the same time that the marriage ended, terrible news of a great army of demons, what Sarina figured to be the ghosts of the TOG warriors, swept through Taslima. All were warned to pack up and leave the beautiful realm for their world was to be destroyed when the demon army swept into the realm on January 31st. Sarina and her beloved friends in Taslima were devestated. They talked and fought trying to find a way to save their precious realm, but, it was to no avail. If they were to survive, they must pack up their things and move on finding a new home in a strange place called RhyDin.
Using her powers as a sorceress, Sarina and the children magically transported Blackmoon Rising to RhyDin forest beside of a great lake with a large waterfall and moved. Upon arriving in RhyDin, Sarina and all her friends from Taslima did not fit in well with the other citizens. They soon found themselves hiding in packs alone in silent buildings whispering praises of their homeland of Taslima and praying for those left behind knowing that they would be enslaved or killed by the evil demon scourge about to sweep through the realm. By this time, Sarina's marriage to Jaden Coromir had ended and she was, yet again, alone with her children.
She wandered the realm for many more months terribly homesick for Taslima weeping diamond tears deep into her pillow at night. Then, one day, wandering the taverns with her friend Stormy Rain, she met King Omar Des Los Leones. She knew not of whom he was, only that he was very sure of himself and believed her to be in love with him. He soon stole her heart and they became engaged. Sarina went away to Darksbane for a few weeks, and upon her arrival back in RhyDin, something went wrong and she and Omar broke up. It broke his heart and he died. She was stricken with horrendous grief feeling her life was over. She wept at his grave and, in her grief, decided that she would join him in forever.
Grief-stricken, she began challenging others to spars working her way up to a final death match. In the meantime, unbeknownst to her, Omar was resurrected by his friends. Sarina was overjoyed he lived once again, but his hate for her, once again, broke her heart. He toyed with her emotions for a short time after his resurrection, teasing her with his kisses and his words filled with love. He realized that he loved her and would have no other so they were married in secret and she was put with child.
She moved to his homeworld of Gatera where she bore Prince Tarian Des Los Leones. Days after his birth, Omar abandoned Sarina and the children. While he was away, tiny Tarian perished from crib death. She once again fell into a terrible grief from which she could simply not recover and after divorcing Omar, she stabbed herself in the heart upon Tarian's grave in the RhyDin cemetary. She was buried beside of Tarian and lie in her grave for a single week at which time her mind, body and soul were rejoined together to live again.
Just after her resurrection, Sarina was adopted by Lord Haze giving her three new sisters, Rina, Marishna and Talisa and a new brother called Silphion. She wandered the realm for sometime after she was resurrected trying to find her one TRUE love. She met several men, but none of them were the right one.
Then one day, it occurred to her that he had been by her side for the longest time. On March 29th, 1997, she married CEOSO Mike "Trident" Rice of the Emperor's Hammer. ( Wedding Log ) However, after a time, the marriage, as all the rest, ended tragically.
Sarina lives in her small cabin in the forest with her 5 children , Kody, Angelina, Derrick, Darian and Katarina. There, they cope with the everyday trials and tribulations of life in the realms, and merely trying to survive throughout their lives while Sarina holds in her heart the eternal love of her soul mate who has long passed on.
