Review of this episode:
Everything seemed to be just fine.  Everybody is having a fine dream.  But suddenly, their dreams had turned into a nightmare.  It was the worst things that could happen to all of them.  At the end of each of their nightmares, an alien appears.   Finally, most of them wake up in the middle of the night, frightened and not fully realizing what had happened to them.  They couldn't go back to sleep; the image was too horrid.  After talking to each other for some time, they finally realized that the alien in their dreams were all identical.  There must be some foul play here.
It is strange; Ensign Kim is late for his duty shift.  Captain Janeway coms Harry but there was no reply.  It turns out that Harry is still asleep!  Quickly, Harry is brought to the sick bay under the care of the Doctor.  It seems like he is in a deep sleep of some kind.  It must have been the alien that put Harry in a deep trance.  There is only one way to find out; somebody must sleep and "negotiate" with the alien.  Fortunately, Chakotay can put himself to sleep and have a "lucid" dream, a dream where one can control what one is doing.  Chakotay can remind himself that he is still in a dream if the Earth moon is seen through the window.  He can also tap the back of his hand three times to wake himself up again.  Once everything is ready, Chakotay goes to sleep.  In the sleep, he finds himself in the same nightmare as before, hunting a deer with his father.  As Chakotay follows the deer to an impasse with a spear in one hand, the deer turns into that same monster that everybody had seen.  The Alien quickly hits the spear out of Chakotay's hands, but eventually loses the fight.  Chakotay asked the Alien what it wants and it replied that the "waking people" have made them weak; it is only fair if the "sleeping people" get revenge in the waking people's sleep, where they are most vulnerable.  What could be done? The Alien said for Chakotay to set a course to a star system at the border of the Alien's territory.  Finished with the business, Chakotay tapped the back of his hands to wake himself up.
He did, and told everything to the Captain.  Once they arrive at the set coordinates, they thought that the trouble would be over.  Unfortunately, it isn't that easy; The aliens turned to attack Voyager.  Quickly, the aliens board Voyager and takes over the ship.  There is nothing anybody can do now.  The main power is down and everything doesn't seem to be working.  Soon, Chakotay finds himself with the doctor in the main bridge.  That was all a dream?  Chakotay looked around and there doesn't seem to be anybody awake.  The Doctor said that he has been sleeping for almost two days.  He starts to question the possibility....

OK OK so i got a little bit carried away.
Here's the real synopsis...
What happened in the episode was that there was an alien species that has some technology that permits them to enter other people's dreams.  Unfortunately, Voyager happens to be passing by.  The aliens then start to keep all the crew members in a deep sleep.  The episode is mostly confusing, switching between reality and dream state.  At the end, Chakotay finds the place where the Aliens are sleeping and threatens to destroy all of them with a photon torpedo if they don't leave the crew alone.  phew...

Evaluation:
This episode was quite confusing and the ending was mediocre.  The episode was pretty exciting at first, but it started to be too confusing for somebody to catch up with and know what is REALLY happening.  There were some good lines in there i.e. "This is what happens when a request for a larger sick bay goes unheard." -- Doctor.  It was an enjoyable episode for a while with maybe a start of Seven's relationship with Kim.  Also, neat new hairstyle, Paris.  By the way, what is on B'leanna's suit on the chest?

This episode receives:      a 6 out of  10.
