The Leg Lamp Award

If you've seen the movie "A Christmas Story", then you know the significance of the leg lamp. If you haven't seen it, you should. I highly recommend it. It's destined to become a classic if it hasn't already. *L*

The leg lamp was the award that Darren McGavin, the star of the movie, won as a prize in some contest he entered. It came special delivery, and he was really excited. As he looked at it with pride, he was heard to say... "It's a major award". Thus, the leg lamp award. *S*

It is my hope that you too will display this award with as much pride as he had as he stood on the opposite side of the street and stared into his living room window and smiled brightly.
