Teaser:  Little Amber Lynn says her prayers and goes to bed.  While her dad is watching Harsh Realm *L* her mother is writing this ransom note.  When they go back to check on her, she's missing.

Mulder asks Skinner to put him on the case, so he questions Amber's parents.  Scully meets up with him at his hotel while he receives an unexpected call from his mother.
