Yahoo!Geocities
Yahoo!Geocities is the web's largest free space provider, with over 5 million "Homesteaders." GeoCities 
offers you 15 megabytes of space. You can use GeoCities' file manager utility to create your home page or,
you can submit your custom home page and graphics files using their "EZ File Upload Utility." You can 
also upload your Web page and other files using an FTP client.
They use a small drop/down banner in the top right corner of your page.

Crosswinds
This site offers free "unlimited space," free E-mail and other goodies. You may upload your page  with their upload service that you access through your browser. No porn, "warez" (pirated material) or spamming allowed. They have a pop-up banner now but if it is kept minimised it won`t keep popping up. 

Fortunecity
Major free web space provider that uses a city theme. Fortune Cityoffers 100 megs of space and they've
added subdirectory support, making it easier to manage your files.

Fortunecity now offers free web hosting services in Britain, Germany, France, and Sweden as well 
as a Spanish language service.

Angelfire
A major free Web space provider. Angelfire offers up to 50 megabytes of space for your files. Note, however, that if you use up your initial space allotment, you can apply for more (and can receive up to 30 megabytes of space). You may advertise your business here, but you may not have paid advertising banners on your page. 
Angelfire requires members to display ads on their pages, either via a pop-up, or an in-line ad embedded 
at the top of your pages. 

Virtual Avenue
Here, you get "unlimited" traffic and e-mail forwarding, as well as a true FTP account. 
Virtual Avenue also offers you 50 megs of space, (but note that no one individual file you upload
may be larger than 1.2 megs). You also get CGI access from your own directory. The only "catch"
here is that you must display their pop-up banner. (No adult or warez sites allowed). 

Tripod
The second largest free Web page service (after Yahoo! GeoCities), Tripod gives its members a choice between pop-up ads and embedded ads. You get 50 MG of space for your site. Here, you have two 
options: if you're a beginner, you can use the "Quickpage" option if you want Tripod to write your page's coding. If you know HTML coding, you can do it yourself through the "Custom" option.
 

Freeservers
Offers you a choice of six subdomains and unlimited e-mail addresses. Your site address here will be http://YourSiteName.freeservers.com.
FreeServers.com gives you 20 megabytes of space.You also get a free counter, a free guestbook, instant messaging, and direct FTP access. 

Qwik Pages
Just fill out a short form and you'll get your own free 100 megabyte web site, along with your own free
e-mail address. You edit and upload pages here through their online "Qwik Builder" utility, which is 
easy to use. Also offers FTP uploading, free stats and other handy new features. No adult sites permitted.

Myqth.com
Here's a free Web hosting service that offers "unlimited" Web space for your personal or business site. Their features include free subdomains, E-mail, FTP access, an easy-to-use control panel and free Web building tools.

HttpCity
Offering you 35 megabytes of space and a short URL (you@httpcity.com). Members here get access to
various helpful webmaster tool suites and both basic and advanced editors are available. 

NetColony
100 megs of webspace, Easy homepage creator, Unlimited bandwidth, Your own messageboard,

Dencity
Dencity offers 25 megabytes of free web space for your commercial or personal site. Here, you get a
message board, daily stats, CGI scripts, FTP access and a web file manager. All they require is that 
you display a small button at the bottom of your page. 

BGT5
100 mb of free web space! Also provides a free guestbook, a free forum, a free 404 error page, 
free sub domains and a password protected directory. They also provide sponsors that will pay for 
visitors you send from your free web site.

Offers you 50 megabytes of space, in exchange for displaying their 468-by-60 pixel banner, (which you may display either inline or as a pop-up). Your URL here will be http://www.50megs.com/YourSite.
