The Avengers is earth's mightiest super-hero team. They are earth's last line of defense and their membership is well over fifty individuals. The Scarlet Witch has been among their number since nearly the beginning (she, Pietro, and Hawkeye were the first replacement Avengers, forming Cap's Kooky Quartet with Captain America). She is counted as not only one of the most powerful members, but also as having the spirit of the Avengers.
