Look both ways before the Crossing

For some time, tension had been brewing between Iron Man and Wanda. Though she was in position of authority, she constantly found her orders being contradicted by Iron Man. It was soon discovered that Tony Stark was being controlled by the time-traveller Kang (who, coincidentally, is a version of Immortus from the past) and Mantis.

It was during this time that two new allies of Kang's were made known. They were adult males cloaked in mystery. Their names were Tobias and Malachi, but seem have possible connection with Wanda's boys, William and Thomas.

Iron Man's betrayal and subsequent heroic death tore Force Works apart. Having no where else to turn, the Scarlet Witch made her way home to the Avengers.

Shortly after her return, Wanda and a large number of heroes faced the overwhelming power of the mutant Onslaught. She and her teammates, along with several other heroes including her allies in the Fantastic Four, seemingly sacrificed their lives to defeat the monster. The world mourned her passing.
