There is a possible future in which mutants are hunted by the gigantic robotic Sentinels and are either killed or are placed in internment camps. Shinobi Shaw sought to take advantage of the world's state by using the Scarlet Witch to fuel his Cataclysm Engine, creating natural disasters around the globe. Wovlerine, Jubilee, and Magneto freed Wanda, but at a great price. Magneto's legs were crushed, leaving him unable to walk. And the Scarlet Witch died by her father's side. Her last words were a plea for him to join the remaining X-Men and fight for a free world.
