Force Works? Really?

During the last months of the West Coast Avengers, Wanda accepted the mantle of leadership. Though the team suffered many losses, she proved a capable leader. It was also during this time that she had a brief affair with Simon Williams.

In a solo adventure, Wanda found herself facing Master Pandemonium once again as well as a new adversary, Lore. A nexus-being herself, Lore hoped to conquer Wanda's dimension by destroying the Scarlet Witch. Lore was defeated and Wanda joined some of her teammates from the Avengers in forming a new team, Force Works.

The armored Avenger, Iron Man, was the team's benefactor, but he appointed Wanda as leader. During their first mission, Wonder man was killed saving the world and the Scarlet Witch's hex power pulled the amnesic alien, Century, to earth. Though Century began to develop feelings toward Wanda, the team would not stay together long enough for him to explore those feelings.
