The Franks

As members of the Liberty Legion and the All-Winners Squad, Robert (Whizzer) and Madeline (Miss America) fought against the Nazis during World War II alongside such heroes as Captain America, Namor, and the original Human Torch. After the war was over, the two married and had a son, Robert Jr. Due to an exposure of radiation, however, the son himself was a mutant emitting radioactive pulses. He was taken into government custody but would emerge some time later as Nuklo.
Years later, visiting the tiny Balkan country of Transia, Madeline once again went into labor. Seeking out the scientific citadel of the High Evolutionary, they came across Bova who delievered their stillborn, radioactive child. Weakened from exposure to the radiation, Madeline soon died. But having two recently abandoned children (Wanda and Pietro), Bova attempted to pass them off as Robert's. Upon learning of his wife's death, he fled from Wundagore in drunken grief.
After several years passed, the Whizzer would be reunited with Quicksilver and the Scarlet Witch, believing them to be his children. He fought alongside his children and the Avengers, ultimately dying from a heart attack, still believing they were his children.
