Once they were back, the Avengers did not immediately reunite. Wanda spent time with her brother, his wife, Crystal, and their daughter, Luna. Their relative peace was interrupted by an attack from mythological creatures. Actually all of the Avengers were being attacked by the half-human, half-faerie, Morgan Le Fey. Her ploy brought the Avengers together once again and she soon took Wanda hostage. Using Wanda's probability altering powers, the Twilight sword forged by the demon Surtur, the Asgardian Norn stones, and her own magic; Morgan reshaped reality into something of a medieval nature.
While the other Avengers were brainwashed into servitude, Wanda alone retained her memories. Though locked within a dungeon, her incredible power allowed a few Avengers to break the spell.
But that wasn't all. The Scarlet Witch also inadvertantly resurrected Wonder Man in a pure ionic energy form. Though he had essentially been dead, it was his love for Wanda that had allowed him to hang between life and death. Confronting Morgan, Wanda channeled the energies of the Avengers into Simon allowing him to defeat the evil sorceress. The power proved to be too much for Simon and his energy form dissipated.
With this adventure behind them, the Avengers' roster was finalized and the Scarlet Witch stood amongst earth's mightiest heroes again.
