History by Costume

Over the years, the Scarlet Witch has changed her appearance with great frequency (sometimes without choice). These pages will take a peek at Wanda's different looks and give you a little history to boot.

Youth - The early years -- Here we see Wanda strutting about in her birthday suit and some hip Eastern European fashions

Brotherhood - Working for Magneto -- The Scarlet Witch's very first costume (plus that funky headdress)

Avenger - Cap's Kooky Quartet -- The traditional costume

Chton - A demon and a new Dad -- Pale skin and a ragged cape (not so pleasing to the eyes)

Whacko - Kicking it with the West Coast Avengers -- Back to the traditional outfit, but let's look at her brief, but nifty, all-black micro-organism duds

Dark Witch - The queen of Immortus -- She's a bad girl and she doesn't need no headdress (GASP!)

Force Works - The death of Wonder Man -- Wanda explores a more sensual side of clothing

The Crossing - Taking on Kang and ... Iron Man!? -- No headdress, no cape, and no skin (Huh?)

Heroes Return - Only Wanda can save the world! -- We'll skip Heroes Reborn and look at a return to reality (and common-sense) and a tradional-type costume
