Lore is a nexus-being (someone who exists in all possible realities) just like the Scarlet Witch. However, Lore was out to conquer dimensions by destroying her fellow nexus-beings. Though she employed Master Pandemonium and several demon versions of the Avengers, the Scarlet Witch triumphed.
