Morgan Le Fey was the half-sister and archenemy of King Arthur. She has often used the book of evil magicks, the Darkhold, in her quest for power and has even attempted to raise the demon Chton. She has battled the Avengers and Doctor Strange on occasions, but only recently succeeded in her ultimate goal. Using the Asgardian Twilight sword, the Norn stones, and the Scarlet Witch, she actually altered reality and plunged the world into a medieval existence. Wanda was able to defeat her by summoning Wonder Man from the grave and channeling the spirit of all of the Avengers into his ionic form. With her defeat the world reverted back to normal.
