Set is a Demonic Elder god who appears as a gigantic seven-headed serpent. He brought about the origin of the Serpent Men and the creation of the Serpent Crown. He has used his power to take control of men's minds for centuries. Recently, his servent Ghaur constructed an enormous Serpent Crown and abducted seven super-powered women (including the Scarlet Witch) to act as the brides of Set. Wanda was forced to use her probability-altering power to allow Set to return to earth. Though the Fantastic Four and Avengers defeated Set and freed the seven "brides," it is probably only a matter of time before Set returns.
