Hi Everyone...
I realize it has been a very long time since you have heard
anything about the boys. I offer you my apologies, as it has
been a calamity of errors on my part mostly. And a few legal
reasons as well.
We still aren't able to divulge much information as it would be
detrimental to the hearings for the custody of both David
and his brother Elijah. However, they are safe, healthy
and happy in a good home at this time.
The legal system is slow but sure and will eventually reign justice
over these childrens' lives. We continue to pray
for their well-being and for their continued happiness.
They are healing well from the physical aspects of their trauma,
even though the emotional scars will take time, effort
and tons of love; which they are receiving.
Information about this case is confidential and we aren't able
to share anything more with you until the hearings are
complete. No one really knows when that will be.
So, please bare with us and don't give up praying.

The babies' custody hearings are postponed until July.
Both boys are doing well and thriving in foster care away
from their parents. They're happy, laughing, loving each
other. We're looking forward to them being able to have a
"normal" life soon. Although we know it won't be with Greg
and Michelle or any family member, it's for the best. That's
the only way to keep Chris from hurting them in the future.
Two days ago Kyndra and Chris were back in court to set a
court date for their trial. They argued that they wanted
a new judge to hear their case and were sucessful with that
argument. The idea was to keep them out of jail longer by
pushing back their court date. That may have just backfired
on them though. Their hearing was tentatively set for June
for the new judge to hear the case.
Now...their mistake. Remember how part of their probation
was they weren't to be together without their attorney's
present? Remember how Kyndra filed for divorce and there was
question whether it was just a ploy to attempt to get
custody of the boys back? Well, it appears to have just been
a farce after all. Yesterday Kyndra was pulled over for
speeding in a school zone. The person on the passenger side
bolted out of the car and began running. When ordered by
police to stop, he kept running through peoples' yards as
fast as he could. Police didn't know who it was but called
in a helicopter to chase him down. When they caught him it
was of course Chris. Now both Chris and Kyndra are back
in jail, have broken probation and Chris has new charges
against him.
Michelle and Greg are fine and send a big hello and thank you
for all you've done. She's still suffering from morning
sickness pretty bad, but we're all excited. Life
is good and things seem to eventually work out the way God
knows is best for us all.

Please accept our apologies for the delay in getting updates
posted. We appreciate all the wonderful letters & inquiries
into the boys health & welfare. I can tell you however,
that the legalities of this case pose some problems with
giving information. Hence, the delays to this web site.
David and Elijah are currently still in the custody of the state and
being well cared for in a foster home. The decision on their
future is expected in early Spring. There is a possibility
that no blood-relative may gain custody and it's very likely
the children will be placed for private adoption. At this
point these are merely observations and not fact.
Kyndra Fink has filed for divorce and is reestablishing
herself within her family. Chris Fink is unchanged by
the situations that have occurred within his immediate family.
David is slowly but steadily recovering his health and has gained
weight. We are told he's even begun to walk and is trying
to talk now. He loves his little brother Elijah and doesn't
want to be apart from him at all. They play and sleep
together. These boys are in themselves great therapy for each
other. Only time will tell on the emotional and mental
side of this situation.
Further updates will be printed as allowed. However,
please remember that the legal aspect of this still pending trial
is a contributive factor for the delays.

The Judge has reduced the bail for both Christopher & Kyndra Fink.
Both are expected to be out of jail by days end! However
Chris' release will be with supervision, Kyndra's will not.
Thankfully they do not have visitation with the babies
nor do they know their whereabouts. Trial news can be

as well as building a website to assist us in our efforts
to spread the word about David's kidnapping.

The court hearings for Kyndra and Chris have begun. The custody
hearing has been rescheduled for Dec. 1 because David's
immunity system has shut down. He's already had to return
to the hospital for care. The good news for David is his foster
mother is a nurse and he IS receiving medical care. He
has come through from this last physical battle. What a
special little trooper he is. It is best for David to be in the
care of his foster parents where he isn't around other people
right now because of his health condition.
Michelle and Greg still are not being allowed visitation, but
neither is anyone else. David needs constant medical care
right now. Our prayers are still with him and we believe
he's going to be well.

Deputy describes finding "gaunt" Kyndra Fink & sons

As most everyone is aware Christopher Fink is a self-proclaimed Prophet
who was given a revelation that his son David was only to
eat strawberries & watermelon. Although Christopher & Kyndra
were adamant that David's diet be strictly enforced, niether of
them followed the same restrictive menu. Until recently!
Christopher's attorney has advised him that he MUST restrict
his dietary intake to the same "revelation" he inflicted
on his infant son. Their reasoning is that it will
"look good for the judges"!
Chris' gluttonism is what got him caught in the first place.
His family was starving and he went down to McDonalds. Had some
cheeseburgers and beer while Kyndra was up in the mountains
with the babies and no food...and the car died. He was hiking
back to the campsite when he was spotted.
All I can say......There is a GOD!

General Carolyn Nichols & Guardian Ad Litem Joseph Barrett
to be in everyone's prayers that they will be inspired
to make the right decisions concerning David & Elijah.
The judge has ordered that a decision be made within the
next two weeks. Please ask for a few for Greg and I,
we feel like we are dealing with the devil himself/herself.

We apologize for the updates being so slow to get posted.
However, this case is at a sensitive point at this time.
We can tell you that both David and his new brother Elijah
are being well taken care of in a safe, healthy & loving
environment. There are case studies being done currently to
determine custody/guardianship of the babies. Until those
are completed we are not at liberty to release much information.
We continue to seek your prayers for the babies that God's will
be done. They are now in the hands of the court system.
With our prayers we hope to keep them within our family.
Thank you for the kindness, compassion, and consideration
you have given to us during this ordeal. We couldn't
have gotten through it without each of you.

I've been asked by a few people how they might make a donation to
David and Elijah Fink. I contacted the Division of Family and
Child Services (they have legal custody at this time) and was told
that donations could be sent to:

They may also call (801)281-5033 and ask for Anna Trupp. The checks
should be made out to David and Elijah Fink with a note
in the lower left hand corner of the check that says "c/o DCFS".

Good News!!!!!!
In case you haven't seen the news yet, the Finks have been
found!!!!
Apparently, the media attention paid off. A couple Hunters in
Montana saw the Dateline episode, and recognized Chris. They
reported their sighting to local authorities, and the rest
is history. We're still awaiting word as to David's health
(and the condition of Kyndra's second son, who was born
while
they were on the lam).
We appreciate the outpouring of support and prayers that we
have received. I'll write as more news comes in. Michelle is
in flight to Montana as I type.

I believe in miracles, friends. :-) Christopher Fink was found
in Montana today by hunters and is in custody. Kyndra did give
birth to their second child, and both babies are in the hospital
apparently in good condition but dehydrated. I just spoke
with Michelle's sister, Kristy, in California and this has
been confirmed.
What an incredible experience this has been. Michelle, Greg,
Kandi and myself have been overwhelmed by the outpouring of love
from people all over the world who have joined together
because of one small child, feeling a bond of love for people
we've never met face to face. It does my heart good to
reaffirm my belief in humanity and reminds me how we are all
children of God and how he loves us and hears our prayers.
To Kandi who jumped at the opportunity to start a "small"
webpage to help a little child, that snowballed far beyond what
we dreamed could happen, my love and thanks.

DAVID HAS BEEN FOUND!!!
Thanks be to God, this precious baby has been found.
Christopher was arrested! Kyndra and both babies (dehydrated)
but alive have been hospitalized. Will keep you posted as
more information is received.

Confirmed by the FBI...
There was a sighting of The Finks back in Utah
in the Salina and Richfield areas...
near Deer Creek Reservoir this past weekend.
Please if you are in this area
keep your eyes open for the car or the couple.
Report ANYTHING suspicious to your local Police Department
IMMEDIATELY!!!

We appreciate your efforts with this case. The site looks good.
One thing you might add is that if people think they've
seen Chris, Kyndra, the baby David, or the car, not to hesitate
to call the police. I've received several calls from
people who may have seen them, but they have hesitated for up
to two days before calling. It's difficult to validate a two day
old lead. Timeliness is important. If a citizen sees them
and it's not right here in Salt Lake City, they should call
the local authorities immediately. I'd rather respond to a
hundred false sightings than miss a chance to
catch them
because someone wasn't 100% sure.

Thank you does not seem to appropriately cover the blessings
that have been bestowed upon our family by so many people.
Words just don't seem enough to tell you how much the notes,
cards, letters, poems, etc... are appreciated. The number of
prayers being sent to Heaven for David and our family are to say
the least, incredible! Our family has been overwhelmed by
the enormous and generous response to our pleas for help.
May God Bless each of you for your diligent efforts
and your continued prayers for David's safe return.

No news as of yet...but please keep spreading the link and sending
your prayers. There is no way to know who or where that
one person is that might be vital in finding this little boy.

I just came home from spending the evening with Greg and Michelle.
The prayers offered for them and for David are sustaining them
through this most difficult time.
They are very touched
and wanted me to express their deep gratitude on their behalf.
There have been two more sightings. They were first sighted in
the Cheyenne Wyoming area, then in the Heber, Utah area, and
just yesterday back in the Cheyenne area. The FBI is also
considering it a distinct possibility that they may travel
east to Pennsylvania or Ohio. There is a $20,000 reward
out right now.
This is the most recent information I have, but Greg and Michelle
will be sending us whatever they can so we can keep you all
updated. If anyone would like to see Greg and Michelle,
they are flying to LA Monday and will be on the Leeza Gibbons Show,
the Today Show, and Dateline NBC this week. This last
week they were on Hard Copy, Extra and the story was covered
by America's Most Wanted. One of the shows even talked about
our search on the internet.
Getting the story out to as many people as we can is vital and
obviously is helping as they have been spotted. You never
know who will see them and where.
David's young life depends on finding him, and if it is the
Lord's will with the help of good people, I am sure he will be
found. Thank you again. (Dee)
Okay, I finally have more information. Not a lot, but more is
coming. Greg and Michelle are so grateful for all of the
help, and the word is getting out there. There was a sighting
in Heber City, Ut, and then it appears they returned to
the Cheyenne, Wyoming area. Authorities are looking around
this 5 state area by Utah, but also thinking they may travel
to Pennsylvania or Ohio.
Michelle and Greg would invite anyone interested to also watch
the reports on the national TV shows covering David's story.
Extra and Hard Copy ran stories this week, also America's Most Wanted.
AMW is planning a follow up story next Saturday night.
This coming week Leeza Gibbons, The Today Show
and Dateline NBC.
There is a $20,000 reward right now. The FBI has set up a
1-800 number which Michelle's going to send me tonight, but
anyone with information can still call their local police
or FBI office.
