The Scientists
The Scientists are a mysterious group of aliens who subject various species to experiments without their knowledge. In 2374, the Scientists spent weeks on the U.S.S. Voyager, conducting experiments on its crew. When several people onboard began to experience genetic mutations, the Doctor began to suspect foul play. With Seven of Nine's help, he managed to reveal the aliens, who were using cloaking technology to remain unseen. The aliens refused to leave the ship, however, and they threatened to kill the crew if they weren't allowed to continue their experiments. After the aliens killed a member of her crew, Captain Janeway took control of the helm and flew Voyager into a binary pulsar. The aliens triedx to change Voyager's course, but Janeway was determined to protect her crew. Finally, the aliens left. Two ships decloaked on Voyager's hull. One was destroyed by the pulsar, but the other managed to escape. In the end, Voyager pulled through, escaping the pulsar's gravity and ridding itself of the aliens.
