"Charlie X"At one point Charlie Evans accompanies Kirk to the bridge. Kirk steps on the turbolift wearing a gold shirt and steps off wearing a green V-neck.
"The Enemy Within"The opening scene on the planet is spliced in backward. The hair on both Kirk and Sulu parts on the wrong side. The insignias are missing from their shirts. Kirk's insignia suddenly reappears after he returns to the Enterprise.
"The Return of the Archons"As Kirk and the landing party run form a mob scene just after beaming down, a rock the size of a cantaloupe arches down and whacks a crew member on the head. It bounces off and he keeps running.
"The Devil in the Dark"While searching through tunnels for a silicon-based creature, Kirk and Spock come to a fork in the path. Kirk points to the right and says to Spock, "You go left." Then gestures back to the left and says, "I'll go right."
"The City on the Edge of Forever"At one point, Kirk and Edith Keeler meet on the stairs leading to her apartment. She stumbles, and Kirk immediately catches her. The wide shot shows her wearing both shoes then a close-up shows her thanking Kirk. When the camera goes wide again and she starts walking up the stairs she is wearing only one shoe.
"A Private Little War"This episode features an angry, snarling beast known as Mugato. It has dinosaur ridges down it's back and lethal venom-filled fangs. However, when the creators needed a close-up of Mugato prints they grabbed footage of the footprints made by the large white rabbit in "Shore Leave." According to the scene in "A Private Little War" this ferocious beast leaves bunny prints.
"The Savage Curtain"In this episode, Kirk splits his pants. At one point, the captain ends up on his back and uses his legs to shove away an attacker. As Kirk draws his knees to his chest, a white line appears on his posterior.
"Encounter at Farpoint."As Riker goes to the holodeck to meet Data for the first time, the computer tells him that the holodeck is the next door on the right. Riker turns left and walks into the holodeck.
"Code of Honor."For the Enterprise to take delivery of a much-needed vaccine. Yar must battle to the death with Yareena. During the entire fight, Yar's weapon-a metal bar covered with spikes-covers her left hand and arm. At the very end of the battle, Yar falls on a lifeless Yareena and is transported to the Enterprise. When Yar materializes, the weapon is on her right hand.
"Too Short a Season."As Picard and Riker leave the main bridge to greet Admiral Jameson, they use the turbolift near the captain's ready room. Just before boarding the turbolift, Picard contorts his face and then immediately resumes his normal somber expression.
"Heart of Glory."When discussing the Klingon they've rescued from a damaged freighter, Picard says to Riker, "There is more to this than we've been told. Why was the Tarellian ship so far off course?" The ship wasn't Tarellian, it was Talarian.
"Symbiosis." Most people think "Skin of Evil" was the last episode Yar appeared in (until "Yesterday's Enterprise," of course). In fact, "Symboisis" was produced after "Skin of Evil" even though it was aired before it. Near the end of "Symbiosis." Picard and Crusher leave a cargo bay after Yar beamed the Onarans and the Brekkians to the planet below. As the cargo bay doors close, Yar-far in the background of the shot-take one last moment to wave good-bye to all the fans.
"The Price." In one scene, Troi and Devinoni Ral enjoy an intimate dinner in her quarters. At one point, Ral lifts his fork to his mouth and takes a bite. The only problem is that there is nothing on the fork.
"Brothers." In this episode, Data commandeers the ship and flies it to a planet that houses his creator, Dr. Noonian Soong. Before leaving the ship, Data gives the computer a code that locks out all command functions. Data rapidly spits out a string of fifty-three numbers and words. The next shot shows the computer recording the code, displaying it on a terminal, and storing it in memory. A careful frame-by-frame analysis shows that the computer does not record what Data said exactly. It misses two numbers and then adds one of its own.
"Half a Life."Close to the end of this episode, Lwaxana and Deanna have heart-to-heart talk. Lwaxana walks in front of a mirror. In the reflection, you can see the boom part of the boom mike that records the audio for the scene.
"Unification II."As Picards, Spock, and Data escape from Sela's office, the camera pans across Sela's desk. In the crystal pyramid that decorates the desk, you can see a man with curly hair and glasses chewing on a piece of gum.
"Cost of Living." Near the end of the episode, Picard and Data ride a turbolift to the main bridge. For the entire scene, shot from multiple camera angles, Picard has only three pips on his collar. {when in fact there should be four}
"Who Watches the Watchers" The Mintakans have an unusual planet, indeed. While the Mintakan, Nuria speakes with Picard in the observation lounge, two identical-looking continents rotate behind her. Then at the end of the episode, a third continent with exactly the same shape, except that it faces the opposite direction, appears as well.
"Yesterday's Enterprise" For the majority of the episode, the crew funtion in an alternate timeline, one that the Klingon empire and Federation are at war. The uniforms of the Starfleet officers differ from the ones they normally wear. Among the changes is a wide black cuff at the end of each sleeve. In the final scene, after everything is back to normal, La Forge and Guinan have a drink together in Ten-Forward, yet for some reason, La Forge's uniform still has the wide cuffs.
"Q-Pid" At one point Vash, having been transformed into Maid Marion by Q, writes a letter to Little John (Riker). She folds it, but Q bursts in and discovers her plan. If you watch carefully, Q unfolds the letter and holds it upside down as he reads it.
"The Inner Light"While supposedly staying by Picard's side as he lay on the floor of the main bridge, Crusher somehow manages to get her hair done. Betweens scenes, it suddenly has curls.
"Tapestry" During a reenactment of the fight between Picard and a group of Nausicaans, one of the stunt doubles loses his wig.
"Birthright Part 1" At the end of this episode, Dr. Julian Bashir walks with Data down a series of hallways. He wears black shoes. Then in the final few moments of the scene, he wanders off. Now he wears white shoes.
"Timescape" A runabout with Picard, Troi, Data, and La Forge aboard begins encountering time anomilies. One anomoly causes a bowl of fruit to age rapidly. When Picard reaches toward the fruit, he screams and almost instantly produces a hand with long fingernails. However, if you watch closely as he enters the room and begins operating a computer terminal, you'll see that he already has long fingernails on that hand before he reaches for the bowl.
"Force of Nature" After several seasons as a male, Spot suddenly decides to become female just prior to this episode.
"Inheritance" Data's mom, Dr. Juliana Tainer, begins a transporter trip with two-inch heels and ends it wearing flats.
