Summary: My first fanfic ever. This was written the summer between seasons 3 & 4.
The little additions of Seven of Nine are more for continuity than anything. This is a
completely alternate fourth and fifth season.
This is a typical J/C story (albeit a little darker than most). It has:
-- Chakotay moves on to another woman
-- Chakotay/ Janeway angst
-- Psycho Mary Sue who wants Chakotay
-- Psycho evil villain guy
-- Janeway gets kidnapped
-- J/C hurt/comfort
-- Title based on a song (U2, to be exact)
-- Generic Virus plot device
And the list goes on. Bear with me here. Also, this story does contain violence,
and sexual violence (though not graphic). If you’re under eighteen, this story is not for
you.
On a side note: I wrote this when I was just starting to venture into the fanfic world. I’ve edited it to try to get
rid of things that seem glaringly hammy, but if you run into something that makes you
