Corporations: A Look at the New and Old
| Corporations are the mainstay of life in 2051. Without them, people
would be unemployed...both the wage-slaves and the shadowrunners. Corporations
play a large part in just about everything, simply because they have become
everything. Governments revolve around corporations, and in some cases....ala
Aztlan...so do countries. Power and the almighty nuyen are the largest
motivating factors to corporations...and they don't care who they step
on to get it.
The information contained in these pages are directed towards the GameMasters..kind
of to help them bring small and large corporations into their games. The
corporations that I have created are put onto this page in their most general
forms...leaving it up to the respective GameMasters to create the specifics.
As time permits I will be adding more information about these corporations,
as they play out in my campaigns. So for now....just enjoy.

President/CEO: Juan Fernando Principle Divisions:
Security/Military: Andaraxx maintains it's own security forces on site. Their home office in Chile is well protected, and their security has much influence within the Santiego communities. Infinity research has a very small security force....which is spread very thin.

Security/Military: Dantal uses subcontracted security for most of it's stores and factories. They have no military forces, nor do they have any vested foreign interests.

President/CEO: Eric Paige/Christine O'Donnell Principle Branches:
Security/Military: As a new company it still has a thin employee roster, but each of it's employees is reputed to be highly skilled, although their employee/investigator list is still classified and not released to the general public. Each branch office maintains general subcontracted security at the doors and for perimeters. As for the inside of the offices, little is known.

President/CEO: Victoria Winters Principle Divisions:
Security/Military: Gemini maintains a corporate security force which is detailed to each of its divisions. Each division maintains a security manager and establishes site security on a need basis. PleasureStar maintains a small navy security force to escort its larger ships into somewhat dangerous zones. Gemini also has small fleet of aircraft for corporate uses.

President/CEO: Daniel Gessup Business Profile: Producer and manufacturer of quality designed motorcycles, both on road, and off. Each cycle is custom made to the buyers specifications and needs. The additional features that Gessup Corporation offers is the Gessup silencing system for all of it's cycles, making Gessup cycles the only kind used by the military and border patrols. Even Gessup Street bikes can be equipped with the silencing system. Another major feature is the heightened suspension system and fuel consumption on it's off-road bikes. Gessup is a quality industry, and a stand-alone firm. Daniel Gessup isn't one to fall into Corporate buy-outs or the political arena. Security/Military: Gessup has security personnel, but limited
to several building riggers and guards. The grounds are protected by drones,
cameras, and moveable turrets. All of Gessup computers are isolated to
the building, and protected by three professional deckers/operators. Like
Aztlan, Daniel Gessup believes in thoroughness in hiring, and taking care
of his employees. The pay is good, and the benefits even more so. Gessup
does not ship it's cycles, that is left up to the buyer, as to how he would
like to pick it up. All cycles are designed and built here at the main
factory, at a rate of 14 per year, per department.

Security/Military: Pacifica has its own corporate security forces, but each division tends to subcontract it's own security forces. The corporate security forces are available to the divisions for special investigations and critical needs.

President/CEO: Jameson Trent Business Profile: Trent Holdings is a significant Real Estate company in the world. Jameson Trent is a multi-billionairre with his eye on being a trillionairre. His company buys and sells land, companies, and whatever else makes a profit. Sometimes he developes the land and property before reselling it, sometimes he doesn't. No matter how bad the investment looks, Trent always seems to come out making the nuyen. Military/Security: Maintains a very light force for it's own buildings and employee's. It subcontracts firms for any of it's holdings and interests. When dealing potentially hazardous sites around the globe, Trent has been know to hire mercenaries as security. Trent does maintain an elite bodyguard unit for his own protection.
