Monument Walk

What great park would be complete without a collection of monuments and statues, provided by benefactors, to commemorate deeds of the great, the famous, maybe even the eccentric?

Acropolis Park too has a garden of heroes. The fine landscapers of Athens are constructing a handsome walkway, with a monument to someone (or something) at every turn in the path. So pack a picnic lunch and wander slowly down Monument Walk with us!

Grotto of the Ancients

Where do Community Leaders go when they aren't community leaders any more? We don't know... back to "Real Life" maybe. And when they've gone, the busy gardeners of Acropolis Park put their abandoned Pantheon identities in the back of a pickup truck and set them up in the Grotto of the Ancients. Reminisce about your favorite, now missing, Athens Community Leaders here!
