How does one forgive when one does NOT know what to forgive ???

Maybe we should Define the word Forgiveness???
What does Forgiveness mean to you?????
There has been alot of talk about Forgiveness....alot of ppl say to FORGIVE
...but take a lil moment (how ever long that moment may last) and Ponder
its definition...

                The Oxford American Dictionary defines:
Forgive as to cease to feel angry or bitter toward (a person) or about (an
offense)...
                The Webster's New Worlds Thesaurus says:
Forgive [to cease to resent] pardon..overlook... dismiss from the
mind...let pass...exonerate...excuse... condone..relent ...bear NO
malice...charge to experience...to absolve... excuse...reinstate...
reprieve... justification...mercy... overlook...acceptance...let
bygones be bygones... laugh it off...let it go...absolve...let off the
hook...release...set Free... Acceptance...pardon... relinquish....forget &
forgive...
 
 Now...upon your reflection of your past looking at Persons Places Things
Experiences Events  up 2 today Do Any of these words or definitions
propagate any feelings of Blame Resentment Retaliation Anger ....

Personally this is where i would begin by looking at definitions ... Has
Anyone done something that u Resent...hurts you..makes u feel poorly...a
bad feeling...then i suggest you take a look @ that ....

Nevertheless....there are several options here ...Either you have gotten thru
up to this point in your Life w/out being hurt or angered by anyone .. or you
have ALL ready worked thru all of this ... OR you are in Total Denial ..Have
you also Forgiven yourself??? ...  ...

My Friend I would like for you to do me a favour ... Please write me back about
What Forgiveness means to you whether OR not you feel that You have
Something Or Nothing to forgive anyone for...Additionally If you have
forgiven all would you tell me How you went about it...The reason I am
asking is due to the fact i have been contemplating this issue of Forgiveness
...One of the reasons being is I Thought I had let something go and found
to MY Dismay and Surprise I had not released all of it ...and/or have gotten
reminders whereby it has eventuated self -Inventory....
