With bronzed cheek nestled in comfort lay
your twinkling eyes in blissful slumber closed
with Serenity's veil upon your angelic face
vividly the life dreams dance to and fro.
Ever fleeting, a fugitive vision of despair
beckons thy tiny brow to fashion a crease.
Darkness is siezed by Hope's illumination
entrailed by the delicate radiance of Peace.
Basking in the Joy of Mercy restored with
eternal protection enfolded within wings
whilst gently cradled in bosom of Mother-Earth
softly come Faith's lyrics as she sings.
Wisdom of Father-Time bespeaks of Knowledge
with a ripening of an age so pure yet to meet.
Caressing a moment, Spirit chimes with Love
and the effervescent melody lingers ever sweet.
A morrow soon to break with creation anew.
Tender heart and soul resting in perfect harmony.
The lilies of the valley pale in countenance.
Sleep precious, angel baby ... dream sweet.
