Detail: Hostages from Kingdom Chu
Kingdom Chu was the largest of the 7 major mutually competing kingdoms during the Warring States Period. At this late stage of the game however, it was progressively losing lands to the Qin Kingdom in the north. It sent its royal members to Qin as hostages for peace-keeping purposes. Here some of them are seen standing in front of Qin's Hsien-Yan Palace observing the wonder of Goddess Athena, while a Qin official aimed his mechanical arrow at the Goddess. |
