A Letter From

Andrew Burnett

(Lead Singer of Close Lobsters)

"A Sort of Introduction.............
Welcome to the Modernity and Prestige of all things Close Lobsters.
After Ten Years of High Plains Drifting in the Wilderness the time is
considered nigh and it is mere spooky coincidence that the world
markets sit on the edge of the precipice. Au naturelle. The spectre
haunting Europe is back ! There's been a simultaneous coalescence of factors turning up which suggest something about 'A Decade'. Maybe.  Last Week 'The worlds greatest journalist' Jon Wilde wrote an elegant piece in The Guardian newspaper  evoking a close lobsters who appealed to first the fluttering heart, the groin second, third the
pillowy thighs etc etc. And all in the context of excretions in
bathtubs.  This man is an artist. I believe he belongs in a finer
epoch. For it is he who could give vent to the rushing juggernaut
that was/is 'Close Lobsters'. Below are a selection of tracks
described beautifullly by Todd E. Jones. These are his personal impressions. They capture the spirit of 'A World Turned on its
Head....Re-Mystification'. A world where the great many live in
quiet desperation and the great unwashed make up stories.
Jump on the Rushing juggeraut and High Plains Drift it..."
