Drop a grain of doubt from celestial purity,
The soul in an eye and the angel in hands.
The drift of our thoughts goes in and out of mind.
Our time of dreaming will last in thought forever.
And the earth is within you,
And the walls crumble down,
You cover up your eyes.
And a life in a thought,
Breathes heavily through the day.
Your eyes will be closed.
Clean air and red hair are in front of a light blue sky.
There is such perfection in the back of your neck.
Your arms never seem to reach out with faith.
There are perils in wisdom and cruelty in lips.
The moral hangs so still.
The liquid flows to quick.
You can’t see clearly.
And the clouds form shapes.
And the sun peaks through.
Your eyes will be dry.
The laugh of your mouth and the wonder of your thinking
Puzzles the ego and drains the confidence.
The look for the future and the interest in others
Is a simple acceptance to a jigsaw of words.
With the days that last
And a moment which fades,
Your eyes will be burned.
But clouds drift on
And substance fades away.
I’ll never be blind.
