HEY, HERE WE ARE AT QUESTER'S TERRITORIES AND ANOTHER ROOM IN THE PICTURE GALLERY

And Quester's Quests Continue.

Around the world quests have been part of my educational experiences. I've research the myths of various ethnic groups on every continent except Australia. Mostly this has been part of educational exchanges sponsored by The National Science Foundation. One of the more notable experiences was with John Hopkins University Center. That time my learning was within the area of International Relations. Their location was at J.H.Univ. Center at the University of Bologna, in the city of Bologna, Italy. The Common Market and the European Union along with NATO were being studied as those organizations were being designed and revised. It has taken me into most corners of Europe, North Africa, and the Soviet Union.

As providence favored me, I had lots of time to go by train to Florence and Venice and paint the street and canal scenes. As you can tell, it wasn't all work. Time was available to do a little skiing in Switzerland and sightseeing in Bavaria. Can't visit Europe without making provisions for skiing.

CLICK ON EACH OF THE PICTURES-- MORE BENEATH THEM

This is the area around Zermatt. Some of the best skiing in the world can be found on the slopes close to the Matterhorn.

One main attractin of August skiing on these slopes are the German girls skiing bare to the waist. Most are amply endowed, and when they schuss down those slopes more than snow goes flying!

This is the famous Wolf's Lair near Berchtesgaden. Cousin Eva liked the seclusion and Hitler liked to make little Eva happy.
The picture under it is actually an English countryside near a real musty castle, but what the heck. It was a neat side-trip.

Prague is one of the more historic cities in the world. The spires behind me easily identifies the unique architecture of this area.
The French aren't the only great fencing masters in the world. A Czech once gave me pointers in this activity. It was a situation where I could honestly say after the fact that, "The Czech was not in the mail but fenced in a regular t-shirt.
