Oppress not anyone even though you are so
powerful. Your eyes will fall asleep whilst the
oppressed will keep awake, If you can oppress people because of your
power, From The Quran

There
are a few people whose souls are completely filled with arrogance, bitterness,
hatred and jealousy. They do not wish to endure any pain or
injury. They are captivated by power and wealth, and destroy within
themselves the spirit of virtue that impedes their pursuit of power and
wealth. God may allow these people the power and wealth which they
crave. But they derive no pleasure from their earthly possessions;
inside their souls they are utterly miserable. Only when they connect
this misery with their cravings can they begin to resolve their dilemma.

Were
I possessed of the least knowledge, I would, when walking on the great way,
fear only paths that lead astray. The great way is easy, yet people
prefer by-paths. The court is corrupt, The fields are overgrown with weeds, The granaries are empty; Yet there are those dressed in fineries, With swords at their sides, Filled with food and drink, And possessed of too much wealth. This is known as taking the lead in robbery. Far indeed is this from the way. From Tao Te Ching 120-121a, Lao Tzu |
