Hathor
Hathor was the wet nurse and bed companion of Horus, the son of Isis and Osiris.
She was thought variously to be an incarnation of Isis, the partner of Osiris, or her sister. In one story, Isis gave care of Horus to Hathor while she went in search of the body of Osiris. Hathor raised Horus in the swamps of the Nile and suckled him, which is why she is usually shown with the horns and ears of a cow. The sun disc, symbol of godliness, lies between her horns.
Every year, the Ancient Egyptians would re-enact her meeting with Horus on the Nile at the temple of Edfu, which would be celebrated with a festival of drunkenness.
This carving is etched into the front pylon of the temple of Isis at Philae.
