Thoth
Thoth bore the head of the ibis - a water bird with a long beak. He was patron god of scribes and writing and was measurer of time.
At the final judgment, Thoth had to record the verdict of the weighing of the heart and whether the deceased could be re-born or would have his heart cast away.
