Marhaba | The Pyramids | Nile Cruise | Alexandria | Myths | Links
Marhaba! meaning Hello!
When Mum asked me whether I wanted to go to Egypt for my summer holidays in 1999, I said YES!! I want to do the Nile Cruise and see the Valley of the Kings, because we studied Ancient Egyptian life at school. So we did. But even better, I stayed with friends in Alexandria and did all sorts of cool stuff.

Mum says to remind you that you'll need RealPlayer to hear the music in the slideshow, which you can download for free. We've found that the music doesn't always play depending on net traffic, but it was fun to try.
Click on this small image to see who came with us on the Nile Cruise. I'm standing next to Mum who's sitting in a wheelchair.
The Egyptian Tourist Board would like you to find out how to visit Egypt, so please visit their website.
One good place to find out what's going on in the Arab world at the moment is PlanetArabia.com so why not go and have a look.
Ma'a Salama - go in safety.
