The modern witch is someone who simply has gained the knowledge, either through inheritance or deep concentration, to have what appears to be "witch like powers" in their dealings with others. In reality this is just the ability to perform a certain form of "MAGIC" from a combination of deep meditation, prayer, and often with a little bit of extrasensory telepathic abilities.

These "witch like powers" are rarely used for evil. The Modern Witch uses her magic to steer her life in a positive method towards personal satisfaction, often including those she loves in her path to success.
