Louisiana Chili

2 1/2 lb. ground beef
3 cloves garlic, minced
3 Tbsp. cumin seed
2 cans tomato sauce
2 cans water
salt and pepper to taste
1 large onion, chopped
6 Tbsp. chili powder
1 can whole tomatoes
1 can water (tomatoes)
3 cans kidney beans

Brown beef; add salt, pepper, onion,garlic, chili powder and cumin seed. Cook until meat is well seasoned. Add remaining ingredients; simmer 2 hours. Makes 10 servings. Serving over rice makes it go along way.
