3 cups of Round Steak washed dried and cut into bite size pieces seasoned with
seasoned salt, black pepper, and a shake of garlic powder. Toss together and set aside.
Coarsely
chop
2 cups each of bell pepper and onion
1 or 2 garlic cloves
1 cup of chopped celery
Heat 3 Tbsp bacon drippins in frying pan. Saute
onions, bell peppers, and garlic cloves until clear not browned over low heat. Drain and set aside.
Now put 3 Tbsp more bacon drippins in frying pan. Brown Round Steak and 1 ½ cups of
ground chuck over medium heat. Stirrying well and often. When browned, drain on paper towels.
Set aside. Now in a soup or bean pot put 2 cans of Hunt's Tomato Sauce. Rinseing
each can with 2 cans of water. Use 4 fresh or frozen whole tomatoes. Canned
whole tomatoes can be used, about 2 cans. Then add 3 cups tomatoe juice.
Now add 2 Tbsp lemon juice and a few drops of Louisiana Red Hot Sauce.
Also add a few dashes of Black Pepper. Bring to a boil and add bell pepper, onions,
and celery. Now add browned meat, stirring well. Simmer on low heat about 45 minutes.
Now add 1 large pkg. of frozen mixed vegtibles and 2 cups of peeled diced to
bite size irish potatoes. Bring to a boil again and simmer until potatoes are done.
NOTE: If you like put in 2 cups of shell macroni.
