Fluffy Fruit Dip

1 cup dairy sour cream
1/3 cup apricot or peach preserves,
or orange marmalade
1/4 cup finely chopped walnuts
2 to 3 Tbsp milk
Assorted fresh or canned fruit
dippers, chilled

In a small bowl combine sour cream, preserves, or marmalade. Cut up any large pieces of fruit (dippers) and walnuts. Mix well. Stir in enough milk to make mixture of dipping consistency. Chill. To serve, insert wooden picks into chilled fruit pieces. Dunk fruit into chilled dip.
Makes 1 ½ cups dip

NOTE: Also good with celery sticks, dry bread sticks or ham.
