Tom's trip to the ER
It seems that the set for "King of New Orleans" was a dangerous place for our favorite boys. During a dramatic scene, Tom sponanteously tried to knock some pictures off the wall. However, what he didn't know was that the frames were nailed to the wall, thus, catching himself on a piece of jagged glass. He gashed his left hand, but proceeded to finish the scene anyways. Afterwards, he was rush to the ER for stiches.
"It was an amazing shot," according to Kevin. "In the scene, he's holding his hand up to the camera, and the blood is running down. He had to get a couple of stiches. And a tetanus shot. It's pretty scary in there."
Is that why, when Travis emerges from the house with a scrape on his hand, Griffin sounds more like an overprotective parent than one of Playgirl's "10 Sexiest Rockers for '96"?
"Wipe it off. You need to wipe it off," Kevin tells him. "Go to the makeup person, and she'll give you some wet wipes."
Moments later, Travis is still chatting with the reporter, and Kevin's on his knees scouring the wound with a Wet-One. If nothing else, Better than Ezra have an instinct for self-preservation.
