For those who do not know the "BOO!" story - here it is: Semeka Randall obtained her nickname of "BOO" because of the following:
Semeka was interviewed on TV in the wake of the Lady Vols victory over UCONN in 1998.
Semeka made the statement, (now this is to the best of my recollection):
"The UCONN players looked like they were scared of us."
Welp . . . the UCONN fans and players "got wind" of this Freshman's statement. The UCONN fans "BOOed!!" her. SOOOOOOOOooooooooo . . . the nickname "took". Now, at every Lady Vols game, when Semeka is announced, etc. WE - Lady Vols fans "BOO!!" her. But that's aGOOD "BOO!!"
