Geto Boys get my vote for having chosen one of the most suiting titles for an album this year. This album was indeed bad, with a few good songs and a couple ugly songs. Renown as pioneers of the rap game, Geto Boys, who've been around nearly as long as I, chose to re-enter the surging hip hop scene. Unfortunately their style remains mostly unchanged - good hardcore old skool. Not really my type of icing on the cake. I found most of their songs easy to understand lyrically, but they were just too bland! They've got a few good hooks, a couple interesting beats, but they're soggy in the creativity department.

They had one great original song: "Do Yo Time". A clapping sound, keyboard riff, funky bass hook, and amazingly no real solid backbeat makes this song so different. I love it. Lyrics complete this song, with Ghetto Twinz adding their rough female cutting-edge style. Other notable songs are: "Big Faces" has an interesting backbeat and a catchy chorus; "Thugg Niggaz" definitely has a 2Pac feel to it using the same backbeat as Tupac's "Thug Style" from 'R U Still Down?'; and "Gangsta(Put Me Down)" has an LBC feel and a catchy chorus and has hit potential.

As big as Geto Boys might be, this album hasn't made me a loyal follower. One of their rappers has a great voice, that entices you to listen. But, the rest lack rhythm and seem to be talking over the music. The end result was an extremely bland album. A big old skool fan might enjoy this album. Otherwise, your money would be better spent doing your laundry.
