Railway Lines in Bosnia-Hercegovina (RS & FBiH)
Signalisation: All lines have signals (either colour light or semaphore), but most are damaged and inoperable.
Electrification: The line Doboj-Dobrljin via Novi Grad is electrified completely, as is the line Samac-Doboj-Rječica (the border town between RS and the Federation), but the continuation of this line to Maglaj and Sarajevo is not electrified between Rječica and Zavidovići in the Muslim-Croat Federation due to war damage that has yet to be repaired.

Domestic passenger trains run on all relations in Republika Srpska: Doboj-Banja Luka, Doboj-Šamac, Doboj-Petrovo Novo, Doboj-Maglaj, Banja Luka-Novi Grad, Novi Grad-Dobrljin and Novi Grad-Blatna. From Bijeljina there is an international train to Šid operated by JŽ. This leaves Brčko and the stops on the Tuzla-Zvornik line as the only rail stations in Republika Srpska without passenger service, but it is planned in the near future to introduce a train on the Brčko-Tuzla line, to be operated by ŽBH. Several international fast trains along ŽRS tracks have been introduced: Doboj-Ljubljana-Doboj and Sarajevo-Doboj-Zagreb-Sarajevo. In the near future it is planned to introduce international trains Banja Luka-Vinkovci-Beograd and Zagreb-Novi Grad-Bihać-Knin.
Freight trains run on all lines.
