CADET LEADER CHARGED

The second-in-command of a Navy League cadet corps has
been charged with sexually abusing six girls, including three
under his command.

Dale Elliot Gray, 54, was suspended from the volunteer
outfit when the complaints first surfaced about six weeks ago.

He was charged last Thursday with six counts of sexual assault
and five counts of sexual interference against six grils between
the ages of eight and 15, said Edmonton police spokesman
SGT. Bryan Boulanger.

Boulanger said none of the alleged incidents are believed
to have happened during cadet activities.
