What is the point of trying to escape through the trap door. Vampires are fast and you would never make it! Besides, even if you could make it, the vampires are strong enough to get through it. It's hopeless. They are about to close in on you right now as a matter of fact. You hear a noise. It is coming from across the room. It is Jim! He yells as he charges at the lead vampire. His sudden appearance catches the vampire off guard. Jim drop-kicks him. However, the initial surprise of Jim's appearance has worn off. The vampire gets up and flies in the air toward Jim's throat. However, this is just what Jim wanted. The vampire whines and falls as he draws near to Jim. Somehow Jim is draining the vampire's strength.

"Keep him away!" the vampire cries out.

Where is Nick, you wonder. Jim's presence makes Nick shrink away as well and he is huddled over in the far corner. "It's working, it's working, I didn't think it would work!" Jim exclaims.

"What is, Jim, what did you do??" you ask him.

"Garlic! Vampires can't stand garlic! It drains thier strength!" Jim exclaims.

"Garlic, where did you get garlic?" you wonder

"He is weak enough, Richard, kill him!! kill him!! then Nick will be back to normal!!" he yells at you.

You look at the pathetic excuse for a life cringed on the floor and almost feel sorry for it. He looks you in the eyes and you can tell that is trying to hypnotize you with all the strength that he has left. You look away, and reach for your pocket knife and kill him. With his death you can see that Nick is back to normal!

The next day, when you return to the city, you find out that the government kept this vampire alive to study it and learn from it, but of course the general public was misinformed. When he got loose, a concerned government let out its prolonged secret to warn others of his possible influence. It was the talk of the day and next twenty days. You are glad to know that there are no more vampires out there and to know that a government's secret has now been layed to rest.
