Home Sweet Home
Well, I live in Gulf County, Florida. That's on the panhandle coast, which of course is on the Gulf of Mexico.
This is Mexico Beach. The area I live in is near the top of the picture, around that curve. See, I'm waving at you.
This is my little town, Port St. Joe, as seen from the front door of my store.
This is our park, which is one block from my store. It's dedicated to Frank Pate, a good friend, who recently retired as mayor after 30+ years. Frank owned a service station, and you could always go there to talk to him about town business. Sorta Mayberry, huh?
The fisher men are in the Dead Lakes, which are in the northern part of the country. An Everglades looking area.
Ok, here's the stuff you expect to see in Florida. That white stuff is sand. We have lots of that, especially on the beaches. That thing on the rocks is some kind of local bird. We call them pelicans, I think.
And this is my house. Just another typical Florida mansion you probably saw on Miami Vice. :-)
