1973 N.F.L. Defensive Player of the Year
Anderson played college football at the University of Colorado and was an All-American selection his senior year. Anderson was drafted by the Miami Dolphins in 1968 and was named the A.F.L. Defensive Rookie of the Year. Anderson played was a Pro Bowl selection in 1972, '73 and '74. He was a member of two Super Bowl championship teams and was selected as the 1973 N.F.L. Defensive Player of the Year. He retired following the 1977 season. He was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 1993.
