Don Baylor

1979 American League Most Valuable Player

In 19 seasons, Baylor's only all-star appearance was in 1979 as a member of the California Angels, his M.V.P. season. Baylor batted .296 with 36 home runs and a league-leading 139 R.B.I. and also led the league with 120 helping the Angels win the American League West. He had 2,135 career hits with 338 home runs and 1,276 R.B.I. He holds the career record of being hit by a pitch and currently manages the Chicago Cubs.
