1969 & 1973 American League All-Star
A gold glove center fielder for the Baltimore Orioles, Blair was a major part of their World Championship teams in 1966 and 1970, as well as their pennant winners in 1969 and 1971. A two-time All-Star, Blair finished his career as a utility player with the New York Yankees in the late 70's, and played in 1979 for the Cincinnati Reds before finishing his career with the Yankees in 1980. Blair won eight Gold Gloves, ever year from 1967 to '75, with the exception of 1968. He later served for a time as head baseball coach at Fordham University.
