Barry Bonds
Five time National League M.V.P.
Son of major leaguer and Superstar Bobby Bonds, Bonds came up with the Pirates in 1986 and led the Pirates to the N.L. East title by hitting .301 with 33 homers and 114 R.B.I. Bonds also won the M.V.P in 1992, '39, 2001 and '02. Bonds left Pittsburgh for the San Francisco Giants after the 1992 seasons. Bonds is a perennial all-star, and won gold gloves in 1991-'94, '96-'98. Bonds broke the single season home run record in 2001 with 73, and also set a major league record with 177 walks. In 2002, Bonds walked 198 times and also broke the single season record with a .582 on base percentage. He has a career total of 652 home runs.
